Octave is a Belgian company and leader in smart and flexible energy solutions for SMEs and industrial sites. In addition to its internally developed intelligent software for controlling battery systems, PV inverters and charging stations, Octave also offers battery storage systems.

All Octave battery systems can be controlled with the Yuso smart steering.

Octave EMS: also available without BESS

In addition to intelligent control solutions for batteries, Octave also offers solutions that can be applied without a battery.

An important solution is Solar Curtailment. In this solution, Octave will reduce or switch off one or more PV inverters to reduce or avoid grid injection, depending on the opportunities on the energy markets and the real-time consumption of the customer. With the frequent occurrence of negative prices on the Day Ahead market and Imbalance market, this functionality is a useful addition to the Yuso injection contract.
